SSMF 2016

​​On April 1st and 2nd, 2016 we hosted the Fourth Annual Screening Scholarship Media Festival themed Race, Media and Social Justice, featuring “A Conversation on Race” between renowned filmmaker and activist Michelle Stephenson and award winning journalist and scholar Marc Lamont Hill. We also hosted a keynote event The Unruly Digital with esteemed panelists Dr. Adrienne Keene, Dr. Todd Wolfson, Dr. Bianca Williams, Sandra Khalifa and Tara Conley. In addition, we housed a pop-up exhibition at the Penn Museum’s William Pepper Hall Gallery and continued our Undergraduate Fellows Program.
